Have you ever just known something about a person or situation without any prior information? And then you try to explain how you knew what you knew and couldn’t. You don’t know how you knew, you just knew. This is a great example of claircognizance.
Claircognizance is the ability to have clear – often sudden – knowledge or insight about a person or situation, usually without any logical explanation. Out of all the clairs senses, claircognizance is one of the hardest clairs to explain. Why? Because when you connect with your claircognizance you are often picking up on everything, all at once, about a person, place or situation. This means you’re seeing, feeling and hearing things about a person, place or situation allowing you to build a fuller picture of what might be happening, what is happening or what has happened. And when you convey this information with others who can validate what you’re seeing, hearing and feeling, you discover you’re correct.
When I was fist starting out as a professional Medium/Intuitive I would be questioned a lot about how I knew what I knew. Since I wasn’t breaking down the information by each clair at that point in my career, I would just politely say, “I just know” or “that’s what spirit is telling me.” It was usually the easiest and best answer at the time.
So, if you’ve ever found yourself in these types of situations, I’ve bet you’ve been asked how you knew things you’re not supposed to know, or that nobody else knows, or that only certain people involved or close to the person or situation knows. The best answer is that you just know.
If you’re interested in learning more about claircognizance and how to make sense of the messages you’re receiving, register for Meet the Clairs: An Introduction to Tapping Into Your Intuition where I teach you how to recognize and connect with all eight of your clair senses. I look forward to seeing you in class!
